Ferrell Center 2020-21 Media Information
This season’s Ferrell Center media operations will be altered in conjunction with other Big 12 schools in order to provide a safe environment while covering Baylor Basketball.
GENERAL MEDIA GUIDELINES

  * All media personnel are required to wear a mask upon entering the arena. Neck gaiters are not permitted. Media must bring their own masks.
  * Media members must submit to health screenings prior to entering the arena. The media entrance is now at the main entrance near the Stone Room.
  * The media room has been relocated to the Stone Room to the left of the main entrance.
  * Media parking spots have been reassigned in the same lot as last season.
  * Media will not be permitted on the arena floor at any time.
  * Press Row has been moved to section 104, rows 22-27. We’ve removed seats and created three rows of tables and chairs, with approximately 12 socially-distanced work stations.
  * Work stations will be assigned on a game-by-game basis. We will make every attempt to provide a work station to everyone, but if we are unable, there will be work space in the media room.
  * All local outlets have been issued season-long credentials. Please provide notice to David Kaye (MBB) or Kyle Robarts (WBB) if you would like to request a work station.
  * For those who do not require work stations, section 104 rows 28-32 are open seating for all credentialed media. Please socially distance as appropriate when in those rows.
  * There WILL NOT be a media will call available at the Ferrell Center this season. If you need to make special arrangements, please contact David Kaye (MBB) or Kyle Robarts (WBB).
  * Meals will be provided for working media only in the Stone Room. Media are encouraged to take their meals to their work stations in section 104.
  * Printed materials will be limited. Only final stats will be distributed in the media room.
  * In-game stats WILL NOT be printed. Live stats are available at www.baylorbears.com/stats<http://www.baylorbears.com/stats>.
  * Game notes and all other media materials will be available at http://baylorbea.rs/MediaMBB and http://baylorbea.rs/MediaWBB.
  * Media are not permitted to shoot video from inside the arena at any time. Local TV crews will be provided a pool feed in the media room.
  * Radio (section 116) and broadcast TV (section 105) will work at their locations in the arena.

POSTGAME

  * Both teams will have their own postgame press conferences via Zoom.
  * Contact David Kaye (MBB) or Kyle Robarts (WBB) for access information if you would like to participate in Baylor’s postgame press conferences.
  * Media interested in participating in the visiting team postgame press conference must contact the visiting team’s athletics communications office.
  * Recordings of both press conferences will be distributed through the Media Materials Box link.
