DALLAS, Texas – Baylor men’s golf will return to Trinity Forest Golf Club on Sunday for the first time since head coach Mike McGraw's Bears held off host SMU by a shot in 2018.

McGraw looks forward to taking his team back to the course that hosted the PGA Tour’s AT&T Byron Nelson in 2018 and 2019.

"We love competing close to home, and all of our players are familiar with Trinity Forest,” McGraw said.

Johnny Keefer will play out of the No. 1 spot for BU. The senior is the only Bear to have all six rounds count towards the team score this year.

Trey Bosco will look to continue the strong start to his season, playing out of the No. 2 spot. On the strength of a win in his first event of the season, Bosco leads the team with a stroke average of 69.67.

Luke Dossey makes his third start in the lineup this fall and will play at the No. 3 spot at Trinity Forest. Dossey is second on the team in stroke average, thanks in large part to his strong play on the par 3's this year. He leads the team with a par-3 scoring average of 2.86.

Tyler Isenhart will start at the No. 4 spot this weekend. Isenhart has been steady to start the season, tying Dossey for the team lead with a par-or-better percentage of 82.4%.

Zach Heffernan will return to the lineup at the No. 5 spot after a strong showing as an individual at the MCC River Classic. The sophomore from Boerne shot two rounds at par-or-better to notch a tie for 14th at Bear Ridge, his career-best finish.

Jonas Appel also carded a career-best finish (T7th) at the River Classic and earned a spot as an individual in this week's field. The freshman is second on the team in below-par percentage, making birdies or eagles on 23.1% of his holes played this season.
