TOP QUOTES
Head coach Casie Maxwell
On today’s exciting win…
“It was really fun through all four events. We really focused this week on doing a lot of the same things we did last week against Oklahoma State, but just cleaning it up. They really did that today. They came out just as confident as they did last week. They were cleaner in some places. Very minimal mistakes across the board. Just carried that confidence into this week and all four events and every ride they put into the arena today. Very proud of them.”

Jumping Seat junior Savannah Hemby
On her performances in today’s win…
“It felt so good. It’s our first home win this season, so it just feels great. The energy is awesome. The atmosphere was great. And Flat is something I’ve been working on really hard. It’s definitely not my strongest suit, but I’ve been working hard so today felt great.”

Horsemanship senior Ellen Schrotenboer
On the team’s morale…
“Honestly, I just really enjoyed it. We started off the season a little slow, so to pick it back up at home feels great. Now we get a nice two weeks off, then it’s back to work.”
