MISCELLANEOUS NOTES

  *   Baylor moved to 2-4 all-time against Wichita State, including 1-2 in the Scott Drew era.
  *   Saturday’s game was the first time the teams met in Wichita.
  *   Baylor’s streak of 28 consecutive wins in December games against unranked opponents was snapped.
  *   Baylor is now 31-8 in games against non-Big 12 teams since 2016-17.
  *   Baylor fell to 142-32 in November/December games under Drew, including 70-18 in December games.
  *   The Bears are now 73-38 during King McClure’s 4-year career and 70-38 in games McClure has played.
  *   Baylor is 267-129 since 2007-08, the first year Drew's staff had a full allotment of scholarships.

TEAM NOTES

  *   Baylor’s 15 first-half points tied the fewest of the Drew era, matching the 15 points scored in the 2nd half at Nebraska on Feb. 4, 2006.
  *   BU extended the nation's 11th-longest active streak with at least one 3-point made in 877 straight games.
  *   Baylor started Tristan Clark, King McClure, Mark Vital, Makai Mason and Mario Kegler for the second time this season, making BU 1-1 with that starting lineup.
  *   Baylor trailed 41-8 in the first half, but the Bears cut that 33-point deficit down to 5 points in the 2nd half.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

  *   King McClure (10 points) scored in double-figures for a team-high 6th time this season and the 32nd time in his career.
  *   Mario Kegler (12 points) scored in double-figures for the 2nd time this season and the 18th time in 34 career collegiate games.
  *   Makai Mason (9 points) had his streak of games scoring in double-figures snapped at 4 straight.
  *   Tristan Clark (12 points) scored in double-figures for a team-high 6th time this season and 16th time in his career.
  *   Clark (3 blocks) extended his streak of games with multiple blocked shots to all 8 games this season.
  *   Mark Vital (2 blocks) blocked multiple shots for the 3rd straight game and 8th time in 41 career games.
