WACO, Texas – Baylor Athletics is excited to welcome Central National Bank as the presenting sponsor for Baylor women’s basketball along with other unique collaborations across the department, as announced by Baylor Sports Properties on Monday.

“We are thrilled to announce Central National Bank as the official sponsor of Baylor Women's Basketball," Baylor Vice President and Director of Athletics Mack Rhoades IV said. "Their commitment to supporting our student-athletes is invaluable and this partnership exemplifies the strong community ties that makes the Baylor Family special. Central National Bank's investment in our program, and the support for women’s sports, will enhance the experience for our players, coaches and fans, and we look forward to a successful collaboration.”

In a multi-year deal that will feature title placement online and in-venue, Central National Bank will support the Baylor women’s hoops squad by providing essential resources to enhance the overall experience for players, fans and the community alike. According to records, this will be the first occurrence of a presenting sponsor for Baylor women’s basketball.

In addition, Central National Bank will serve as the presenting sponsor of the Baylor Coaches Show, the Baylor+ State of Baylor Athletics with Mack Rhoades reoccurring segment, the Baylor-TCU home football game on Nov. 2, and the Women’s in Sports Day game at a future Baylor women’s basketball game. Central National Bank will also present a comprehensive financial literacy class for Baylor student-athletes.

“On behalf of Baylor women’s basketball, we could not be more excited to welcome Central National Bank as our first-ever presenting sponsor,” said head coach Nicki Collen. “Our team philosophy of being ‘Greater Than’ in all we do matches their commitment to excellence in the workplace and in the community. We cannot wait to elevate the experience for our fans and players with the help of Joe Nesbitt and Central National Bank for years to come.”

“We are very excited to be partnering once again with Baylor University, its student-athletes, coaches and staff,” said CNB President and CEO Joe Nesbitt. “Coach Collen, her staff and players represent the Baylor we love, win or lose, on and off the court. Our hope was to find a way to support the excellence these young women bring day in, day out. We believe Baylor Athletics and Baylor Sports Properties have helped us achieve those goals, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to unveil some of the initiatives.”
