[Afamilyatwar-list] Classical theme and wartime popular music

I'm not really a classical music buff but I do like the theme music, particularly the opening theme and the simple titles with the sandcastle was so appropriate for the opening and close.

Also like how we hear wartime tunes peppered through the episodes. I remember Sefton singing along to ' we hang out the washing on the Sigfrid line, have you any dirty washing mother dear ' and we hear a bit of Gracie fields on the radio in an episode too.
