I watched the second run of this brilliant story on Talking Pictures tv and decided to buy the set of DVD’s as I want to watch it again.
The acting was very very good, so different from today’s cliched over sensationalised stuff.
The only niggle I had with it was wondering if some episodes had been missed out - it sometimes left us up in the air after certain emotional family scenes and it was only halfway through the next one we’d pick up on what happened.
Never mind, still glad to have had the opportunity to enjoy it all over again, I didn’t remember that much of it from the 70’s.
Looking forward to the winter afternoons when I can watch it all again!
