  *   No. 3-Seed Baylor is 24-10 (11-7). No. 14 Seed Colgate is 25-10 (16-2).
  *   The Bears’ 92 points were the most in an NCAA Tournament game in NCAA history.
  *   Baylor’s 54 points in the first half were its most-ever in a half of an NCAA Tournament game.
  *   The 16 made three pointers tied a Baylor NCAAT record, matching the 16 made against Syracuse (3/21/24).
  *   .533 from three was BU’s best three-point FG% in an NCAA Tournament game since shooting .547 against Norfolk State on 3/17/22.
  *   BU’s 33 made field goals are its second most in an NCAA Tournament game, the most since making a school-record 35 field goals against New Mexico State (3/17/17).
  *   The Bears are one of three teams to have won an NCAA Tournament Game in each of the last five tournaments, joining Kansas and Gonzaga. Houston can become the fourth team, when they Play Longwood on Friday night.
  *   Baylor is 9-3 in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament under Head Coach Scott Drew.
  *   BU is 10-7 in the NCAA Tournament when playing as a No. 3 seed.

  *   BU deployed the starting lineup of RayJ Dennis, Jayden Nunn, Ja’Kobe Walter, Jalen Bridges and Yves Missi for the 30th time this season. The Bears are 21-10 when utilizing that lineup.
  *   Bridges had a game-high 23 points to lead the Bears, his fifth game of 20+ points this season and the second-straight game where he topped 20.
  *   The senior’s five made three-pointers rank as the second most in an NCAA Tournament game in program history, and the most since King McClure had five against USC on March 19, 2017.
  *   Walter poured in 19 points, his highest scoring output since he had 23 against Houston on 2/24.
  *   Walter’s eight made free throws tied for the fifth most in an NCAA Tournament game in program history.
  *   Nunn scored 15 points, setting a new NCAA Tournament career high.
  *   Dennis scored in double figures in his NCAA Tournament debut, notching 10 points.
  *   Dennis’ 9 assists are tied for the fourth-most by a Bear in an NCAA Tournament game, and the most since James Akinjo dished out 10 dimes against Norfolk State on March 17, 2022.
  *   Josh OJianwuna pulled down a team-high 7 rebounds, the eighth time he has led the Bears in rebounds. BU is 8-0 when the big man leads the team in boards.
  *   Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua scored his first points since Dec. 22, 2023 against Mississippi Valley.
  *   Tchamwa Tchatchoua has now scored for Baylor in three different postseasons (2021, 2023 and 2024).
