LINCOLN, Neb. – Baylor women’s tennis earned its sixth-straight win on Wednesday, besting the Nebraska Huskers, 4-1.



The Bears (12-5) moved to 6-4 in matches away from Waco this season, picking up their fourth true road win.



Baylor won the race to the doubles point with a 6-2 win by Liubov Kostenko and Isabella Harvison on court two before a 6-3 victory by Miska Kadleckova and Zuzanna Frankowska on court three.



Rookie Zuzanna Kubacha earned her seventh singles win of the year with a 6-2, 6-1 decision at the No. 5 position, but the Huskers responded with a straight-set victory on court four to cut into BU’s lead.



A team-leading 11th singles victory by Kadleckova at the No. 1 position pushed the Bears to match point before Kostenko clinched the 4-1 win for Baylor with a 6-2, 7-6(3) outcome on court two.



The Bears resume Big 12 play this weekend when they travel to face Kansas State (Friday) and No. 1 Oklahoma State (Sunday).
