The Bears (18-8 (2-3 Big 12)) ended their three-match winning streak to the Sooners (18-2 (4-0 Big 12)) who remain unblemished in Big 12 play and at home. OU secured the doubles point with back-to-back wins at Nos. 2 and 3 while taking singles matchups at Courts Two, Three and Four.

As 29th-ranked Tadeas Paroulek and Zsombor Velcz battled against 68th-ranked Baptiste Anselmo and Alex Martinez at the first doubles court in a match that ended with a tie at 5-all, OU snuck in two doubles wins at the bottom two courts.

Starting singles, the Sooners had four first sets, while No. 68 Paroulek and Brostrom Poulsen secured their individual first frames for Baylor.

Three courts were abandoned and unfinished, as freshman Louis Bowden was tied at 5-5 in his second set after dropping the first, 6-4. Paroulek and Brostrom Poulsen both split their first two sets and were locked into third sets at the conclusion of play.
