Greetings.

I have my USBWA hat on today, even with Week 1 of college football kicking off tonight. With that, I wanted to solicit your help in getting the word out that the USBWA is finishing up its annual membership drive a little earlier than usual with the goal of getting the print directory out by mid-October for the first time.

On behalf of the USBWA, we would appreciate it if you could share the invitation below to your media list or least to media members on the list you wish to invite to join. All media covering college basketball is eligible to join the association.

We have extended the deadline to Sept. 8 and that's only to guarantee inclusion in the print directory. The USBWA will always take membership applications, regardless of the calendar.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Someone on our team -- either me or Scott Farrell of Jeff Nelson -- may reach out to you next week to follow up.
