WACO, Texas – The 21st-ranked Baylor volleyball team is scheduled to face Texas Tech in Lubbock on Saturday for a midday matchup at United Supermarkets Arena, with match time set for 1 p.m.



BU (12-9, 6-5 Big 12) look to make it four wins in a row over the Red Raiders (8-15, 1-10 Big 12) when the teams meet on Saturday.



The matchup between the two teams is the second most-played for the Bears with 90 matches between the pair. Baylor has won eight of the last 10 matches with Texas Tech and 17 of the last 20.



Baylor is coming off a five-set win over Oklahoma. The Bears have been led by junior outside hitter Elise McGhee for seven of the last eight matches, with Riley Simpson just behind her. McGhee has had double-digit kills in 15 matches so far this season.



Averi Carlson led BU in aces against the Sooners, serving up a career-high four, while Alexis Dacosta had a career-high three aces. On the block, Alicia Andrew threw up a team-high six in the OU match.



Texas Tech is currently on a 10-match loss streak in conference play after opening play with a five-set win against Kansas. The Raiders are led overall by Caitlin Dugan in kills, while setter Reese Rhoades has dished out 560 assists. Leading the team in blocks is Kate Hansen and in digs is Maddie Correa.
