Baylor Soccer Announces Fall 2023 Schedule

WACO, Texas – Baylor soccer released its 2023 fall schedule on Monday, which features nine home games and the Big 12 slate with new teams BYU, Cincinnati, UCF and Houston.

The Bears start the season with a preseason exhibition matchup against Oklahoma in Norman on Aug. 6, before heading south to face Tarleton State in Stephenville on Aug. 10 for the final exhibition contest of the season.

BU kicks off the regular season on the road against Oregon in Eugene and Nebraska in Lincoln on Aug. 17 and 20, respectively.

Baylor will close out its August road slate at Texas A&M on Aug. 26 before heading home for its first home match of the season against Louisiana Tech on Aug. 31.

The Bears start the month of September at Butler on the 3rd, before heading home for a six-game home-stand. After facing SMU and Abilene Christian on Sept. 7 and 10, respectively, they kick off conference play against Texas Sept. 14. A quick break in conference play will have the Bears play host to UTSA Sept. 17 before resuming with new Big 12 team BYU on Sept. 21.

BU will then play familiar Big 12 foes Texas Tech at Betty Lou Mays Field on Sept. 24 before heading north to play Kansas and Kansas State on Sept. 28 and Oct. 1.

Returning home for a game, the Bears will play Iowa State on Oct. 5, before making a trip to Orange County on Sept. 8 to play new Big 12 competitor UCF. Baylor then continues conference play with Cincinnati at home on Oct. 12, before closing out the regular season at TCU on Oct. 15 and at Houston on Oct. 23.

The Big 12 Championship will take place at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock, Texas. This marks the third time the tournament is back in Texas. San Antonio served as the host site from 1997-2012 before it was moved to Kansas City. Championship action will open on Oct. 28 and conclude on Nov. 4.

Single-game and season tickets will go on sale in early August. More details will be shared when available. Additionally, all television stream information is still to be determined.
