IRVING Texas – No. 9 Baylor equestrian has been tabbed as the No. 4 seed for the upcoming 2023 Big 12 Equestrian Championship, as previously announced by the league office.

All four Big 12 teams will compete in Fences, Flat, Horsemanship and Reining when the conference meet takes place on Friday and Saturday, March 24-25, in Stillwater, Okla., at OSU’s Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center

BU (5-8, 2-4) will take on top-seeded and No. 5-ranked Oklahoma State (6-4, 4-2) on Friday, while No. 2 seed and No. 3-ranked TCU (11-2, 4-2) tangles with No. 3 seed and No. 8-ranked Fresno State (3-7, 2-4) in the other semifinal. The two winners will advance to Saturday’s championship, while the non-advancing teams will compete in a consolation prior to the final.

Seedings were determined via a seeding grid that accounted for location, win/loss and NCEA rankings at the time of each conference meet.

All of the action will be streamed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, with a full schedule of events still to be announced next week.
