WACO, Texas – Baylor Athletics is preparing to warmly welcome both dedicated fans and newcomers alike to the heart of Texas this fall. In anticipation of a football season featuring eight home games and exciting new Conference matchups, the University has collaborated with the Baylor Bookstore to unveil a limited collection celebrating Baylor Game Days in Bear Country.

The This is Bear Country Baylor Game Day Collection showcases a range of high-quality apparel and Game Day accessories developed in collaboration with renowned brands such as Nike, IGLOO, Champion, Chicka-D, Legacy Hats, Logo Brands and others. The collection is thoughtfully curated with an array of items that pay homage to Baylor’s legacy while embracing modern aesthetics. Additionally, it features a first-ever collaboration between Baylor and IGLOO with newly designed, officially licensed products ideal for McLane Stadium tailgates, on-the-go adventures, and at-home gatherings.

Representing a local tie to Bear Country, Waco Hat Company designed and produced a limited-edition hat, which longtime Baylor fans are sure to love. Adding to the appeal of the throwback-inspired design, proceeds from this item will benefit Mission Waco.

“As we continue our commitment to enhancing the Baylor brand with specialty apparel and products, it’s exciting to see a vision that has been months in the making come to life,” said Jovan Overshown, Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Revenue Officer. “We hope fans will enjoy the variety, creativity and nostalgic touches of this special collection, which embodies the spirit and pride of ‘Bear Country’.”

Fans will not have to wait long to select their favorite items, as this exciting collection will be launched by the Baylor Bookstore Wednesday, Aug. 23, at noon.

Items will be available to purchase online via https://baylorbears.com/teamstore as well as in person at the campus Bookstore location on 5th Street. Select items will also be available at the Shops at McLane Stadium for Meet the Bears on Aug. 26, and at all home games this fall.
