STANFORD, Calif. – In the late hours of the night on Friday, Baylor track and field grad transfer Annamaria Kostarellis set a new program record in the 10,000 meters at the Cobb Track in California.



In her 10,000-meter debut, Kostarellis raced a time of 32:13.77 to break the previous school record, set by Rachel Johnson at the same meet in 2015, by nearly a minute.



She makes her mark on the program’s 10k top-10 list that hasn’t seen a new entrant since the 2017 Big 12 Conference Championships.
