WACO, Texas – The No. 15-ranked Baylor volleyball program is set for a Saturday doubleheader in the Baylor Invitational, facing Arizona State at 11:30 a.m. and Evansville at 7 p.m., both in the Ferrell Center.

The Bears (4-2) are coming off a three-set sweep over Colorado State to face the two squads on Saturday.

Evansville fell to Colorado State in three sets on Friday morning, while Arizona State swept UE in the afternoon match. CSU plays ASU in the 8 p.m. match to finish out the second day of the Invitational.

Kara McGhee and Riley Simpson led the Bears in kills against the Rams, both with nine, while Simpson led in attempts with 27. Simpson also tied the team-high for aces with two with Sophia Keene. McGhee led in blocks with nine and points with 14.

BU is looking for its fourth-straight win of the season and its first win at home all-time in the series with Arizona State. The Bears’ win over CSU was the first for the Bears at home against the Rams as well.

The match with Arizona State will be streamed on ESPN+ with Lincoln Rose on the call.
