IRVING, Texas – Baylor acrobatics & tumbling had 27 named to the Academic All-Big 12 At-Large Team, announced Wednesday by the conference.

The At-Large Team recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes who participate in sports outside of Big 12 competition, including acrobatics & tumbling, beach volleyball, men’s gymnastics, men’s soccer, and rifle.

The Bears had 21 named First Team as they earned a 3.20 GPA or above, including one who earned a perfect 4.0 GPA – junior exercise physiology major Keri Collins. Collins is one of only three student-athletes who boasted a perfect 4.0 for the 2021-22 season.

BU also had seven named Second Team, earning a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.

In the fall of 2021, Baylor had 42 A&T student-athletes named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

The Bears will be back in action on April 2 for their final home meet, facing Hawaii Pacific at 5 p.m. for Senior Day.
