  *   Baylor played without leading scorer LJ Cryer (13.9 ppg; foot injury) and third-leading scorer Adam Flagler (12.7 ppg, knee injury). The Bears had two available scholarship guards (James Akinjo and Dale Bonner), with all other scholarship players 6’8 or taller.
  *   Baylor committed only one turnover in the final 15 minutes (charge on Sochan with 3:42 left). The Bears had 10 turnovers in the prior 25 minutes.
  *   Baylor trailed by 10 points (41-31) with 19 minutes left and by 9 points (57-48) with 10 minutes left.
  *   Baylor had a 24-2 edge in second-chance points (17-5 offensive rebounds).

  *   Matthew Mayer scored all 9 of his points in the final 3:27, scoring 9 of Baylor’s 11 points from 3:27 remaining until 0:34 remaining.
