MANHATTAN, Kan. – No. 10 Baylor volleyball swept K-State for the second-straight night and continued their overall winning streak and several others with the 3-0 straight-set sweep on Sunday.

Baylor improved to 7-3 and 2-0 in Conference play after the 3-0 sweep of K-State, going 25-22, 25-17, 25-15 against the Wildcats on Sunday night.

The Bears are on a six-match winning streak with five sweeps in a row, and have had an attack percentage of over .300 for five-straight matches.

How it Happened
SET ONE
The match began with back-and-forth points from both squads, matching each other the whole way early on. After 5-5, the Bears began pulling ahead. The Wildcats caught back up again at 12-11 with the Bears still leading, and two Lauren Harrison kills helped separate it further at 15-12. Baylor forced a K-State timeout when they pulled to 19-14, and four-straight BU points were scored on a run, ending with an ace by Lauren Briseño. At 23-21, Baylor called a timeout and then came back out to finish the set at 25-22.

SET TWO
Baylor once again started off with the first point, and started strong. Preslie Anderson thought quick on her feet, recording a kill and spiking it right back at the Wildcats. After the 11th point from the Bears was recorded, K-State challenged but it fell flat. Then the Bears really pulled away, starting their rapid ascent toward the 10-point mark. Baylor kept the Wildcats under 20 points for the second set, finishing it off at 25-17. By the end of the second, Pressley already had 11 kills to her name.

SET THREE
The Wildcats came out hot, with the Bears trailing early. Kara McGhee, Harrison, Anderson, and Preslie helped even the score at 6-6. After that mark, it was all Bears. Baylor pulled ahead with great work from Skinner and others. Marieke van der Mark entered the match and made an impact, while Kara McGhee had a great set with several kills and blocks. Hannah Sedwick and Avery Skinner both recorded aces. Cassie Davis entered for Pressley in the last few points of the match and got the final kill to finish the set 25-15.
