WACO, Texas – Baylor volleyball’s Yossiana Pressley has earned her 16th Offensive Player of the Week accolade from the Big 12, the Conference announced Tuesday.

Pressley had an impressive two-match series against Kansas, posting 49 kills with a 6.13 average per set against the Jayhawks to lead the Conference in week eight of play. She had 21 kills in the first match on 40 attempts, and 28 kills on 48 attempts in the second match. The Texan had a double-double that second night, also posting 11 digs.

She had a hitting percentage of .420 for the weekend and had 17 digs at 2.13 digs per set. In addition, Pressley had four blocks and 51.5 points (6.4 pts/s).

This is the fifth-year senior’s second offensive award of the season from the Big 12, having earned it in week one after her performances at Wisconsin and against Minnesota.

Pressley’s 21 overall weekly awards from the Big 12 are a Conference record.

The 11th-ranked Bears (11-4, 5-1) continue Conference play this weekend in Morgantown as they face West Virginia (13-4, 3-3) for a two-match series.
