COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Baylor men’s tennis player Sven Lah advanced to the finals of the singles tournament on Sunday in the ITA Regionals at the Mitchell Tennis Center.

Lah, the No. 7 seed, upset No. 2 seed Pedro Vives Marcos of TCU in the quarterfinals, defeating him 3-6, 6-2, 6-4. On Monday he will face No. 3 seed Luc Fomba, also a Horned Frog, to fight for a spot in the finals.

Start time and court assignment for Lah’s semifinals match has yet to be announced.

Lah also competed in the doubles quarterfinals with partner Finn Bass. They took on Noah Schachter and Austin Abbrat of Texas A&M, but fell 8-7(3) in a battle.
