TULSA, Okla. – Baylor men’s tennis freshman Ethan Muza has moved on in the prequalifying consolation draw of the 2021 ITA All-American Championships.

Muza, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., fell to Wake Forest’s Juan Lopez de Azcona 6-3, 6-2 on Saturday in the prequalifying first round.

He was victorious against DePaul player Marino Jakic early Sunday at 6-0, 6-3 in the prequalifying consolation round. He will next face Anish Sriniketh of Texas A&M to move on.

Monday marks the start of the qualifying round, with Finn Bass, Jacob Brumm, and Tadeas Paroulek all playing singles. On the doubles side, Brumm and Paroulek will also play in the qualifying round.
