NCAA Volleyball First and Second Rounds - Waco Credential Requests & Media Info

Hello everyone,

If you are interested in covering the NCAA Volleyball First and Second Rounds in Waco this week at the Ferrell Center, please reply to this email with the names and publications of whoever you are requesting credentials for. Due to NCAA rules, new credentials will be made and any existing Baylor season-long credentials will not be honored.

***Please submit all credential requests by 10:00 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Nov. 30***

• For the SIDs – please pass along this email to your local media and have them submit any credential requests by replying back to me.

• Credentials for team travel parties will be picked up as part of the site meeting/practice day on Wednesday.

• Media can pick up their credentials in the Ferrell Center media entrance located through the loading dock tunnel on the north side of the arena (map is attached) on Thursday (doors open at 3:30 p.m. CT). Media workspace will be available in Section 104 of the Ferrell Center, while all postgame interviews will be coordinated in the media room on the event level of the arena.

• Radio crews that will broadcast from the Ferrell Center will need to complete the forms at this link: https://www.ncaa.com/content/audio-policies-0
Please note, all postgame interviews must take place before any radio interviews.

• Court access will be granted to credentialed photographers and videographers. Videographers will also have the option to take a pool feed located in the media workroom. The postgame press conferences will also be available through the pool feed.

Weekend Schedule
Thursday, Dec. 2 at 4:30 p.m. – Northern Colorado vs. Washington State (home team)
Thursday, Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m. – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi vs. Baylor (home team)

Friday, Dec. 3 at 7:00 p.m. – Advancing Match #1 vs. Advancing Match #2

Press Conferences
There will be no pre-match official press conferences, but SIDs are welcome to arrange any interviews for Wednesday (preferably on court before or after practice. Additionally, please let me know if you’d like to use the media room).

There will be a 10-minute cooling off period before post-match interviews. The advancing team will go first, followed by the non-advancing team. Head Coach and two players are expected to attend press conferences after each match.

Tournament Central Page
Live stats, video links, postgame box scores and archived press conferences, as well as other materials, will be posted to the Tournament Central web page at baylorbears.com/ncaavb<https://baylorbears.com/sports/2021/11/28/ncaa-volleyball-first-and-second-rounds.aspx> when available.

Media Parking
Ferrell Center parking is free and open with no reserved spots for volleyball. No parking pass is required.
