  *   Eight returning players and all coaches from last year’s team were presented their National Championship rings before the game. BU also welcomed back MaCio Teague, Mark Paterson and Jackson Moffatt for ring ceremonies. Davion Mitchell, Jared Butler and Mark Vital will get their rings at a later date.
  *   Baylor has won 25 consecutive non-conference games and has a +21.6 average margin of victory in those games.
  *   Baylor improved to 17-2 in season openers in the 19-year Scott Drew era.
  *   Baylor is 26-1 at home since the start of the 2019-20 season.
  *   Baylor led by at least 4 points in all 61 games since the start of the 2019-20 season.
  *   Baylor built double-digit leads in 28 of 31 games since the start of the 2020-21 season.
  *   Matthew Mayer (team-high 14 points) made his career-first start after coming off the bench in 93 games over his first three seasons.
  *   Adam Flagler made his first start at BU after coming off the bench in 28 games a season ago.
  *   Flo Thamba started for the 31st-consecutive game.
  *   Kendall Brown (13 points) started in his collegiate debut.
  *   James Akinjo (10 points) started his first game in a Baylor uniform and has now started 66 of 67 career collegiate games.
  *   Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua (6 points, 10 rebounds) had his 3rd double-digit rebounding game at Baylor (5th of collegiate career).
  *   Jeremy Sochan (10 points off bench) made his collegiate debut and played 23 minutes off the bench.
  *   LJ Cryer (13 points) played 22 minutes and had his 3rd career double-figure scoring game.
  *   Dain Dainja, Austin Sacks and Mitchell Paul also made their collegiate debuts.
