LEXINGTON, Ky. – Baylor volleyball had two student-athletes named AVCA All-Americans, the organization announced on Wednesday.

Senior outside hitter Yossiana Pressley earned first-team honors, while fellow senior outside hitter Avery Skinner was named honorable mention.

Pressley, a Cypress, Texas, native, earned the fifth All-America accolade of her career, having previously earned first-team honors in 2019 and 2020. She was the AVCA Southwest Region Player of the Year as well as the AVCA National Player of the Year in 2019. In 2017 and 2018, she was named an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American.

Skinner earns her second-career All-America accolade and first as an Honorable Mention. The senior from Katy, Texas, earned first-team honors last season as part of her National Championship season with Kentucky.

Pressley finishes her Baylor career as the all-time career kills (2,395) and attempts (5,828) leader. She played in a total of 523 sets in her time at Baylor, making her second all-time in the record book.

Skinner closes out her career with over 1,000 career kills and with 11 double-doubles in 2021 to lead the Baylor squad.

Both of the outside hitters were unanimous All-Big 12 First Team selections after being unanimously projected as such in the preseason.

The AVCA's three All-America Teams include 14 student-athletes each, with 30 honorable mention players.
