WACO, Texas – Baylor fifth-year senior Jennifer Wandt  was named the Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon. This marks the first weekly honor for Wandt this season and the sixth of her career.

Wandt's six weekly awards are the most in program history. Lauren Piercy (2015-18) and Ashley Noah (2004-07) each received three weekly honors from the conference. It marks Baylor's 50th weekly award and the second goalkeeper weekly award as the accolade was introduced last season.

The Brookfield, Wisc., native picked up career shutout No. 33 at North Dakota State on Sunday which moved her into sole possession of fourth place in Big 12 history. Wandt is already Baylor’s all-time leader in career shutouts and over the weekend became BU’s leader in most goalkeeper minutes played (career) with 7,191.

On the weekend, Wandt finished with six saves and allowed only one goal.

Wandt joins Gracie Brian, TCU (Offensive), Brandi Peterson, TCU (Defensive) and Lauren McConnell, Iowa State (Freshman) as this week's award winners.
