FW: Credential Applications Now Open for 2020 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship

The online credential application is now open for the 2020 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship. The event will be held Thursday-Sunday, March 12-15 in Kansas City’s Municipal Auditorium.

The Kansas City Marriott Downtown will serve as the media hotel for the championship. It is located at 200 West 12th Street, Kansas City, MO 64105 (Telephone 816.421.6800). The room rate is $176, plus taxes and fees. Media will receive information to reserve a room once approved for credentials. The Big 12 Conference is not responsible for securing room reservations. The deadline for reservations is Friday, February 21.

A limited number of parking passes will be available only for media in the Kansas City/Lawrence Metropolitan area. Others should plan to ride the Media Shuttle from the Marriott Downtown, or secure your own parking around the auditorium.

The Big 12 will provide complimentary wireless internet service at Municipal Auditorium for general use each day of the Championship, as well as the practice day. If a media entity desires to upload video, audio, photos or other large files, they MUST purchase a dedicated line. If you need data or telephone services, please notify me (russell at big12sports.com<mailto:russell at big12sports.com>) once you complete your credential application and we’ll provide you with the information to order a line.

This credential application is for the Women’s Championship Only. A separate credential will be required for the Men’s Championship via a separate application link. You should have received that information from Joni Lehmann. All questions regarding women’s credentials and services at Sprint Center should be directed to Joni (joni at big12sports.com<mailto:joni at big12sports.com>).
