BAYLOR ACROBATICS & TUMBLING: Bears Host Converse College Tuesday Night

WACO, Texas – The No. 1 ranked Baylor acrobatics and tumbling team will host No. 8 Converse College for a meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. inside the Ferrell Center.

Baylor (5-0) is coming off a two-week break since defeating Hawai’i Pacific 284.190 to 277.355 on March 12 in Honolulu. The Bears have won 24 consecutive contests dating back to the 2017 season.

Converse (3-0) travels to Waco for the first time in its program history. The Valkyries set a program record with 276.565 points in their previous meet, a win over Alderson Broaddus.

The Bears and Valkyries competed twice last season with Baylor coming out on top both times. The Bears captured a 280.125 to 266.550 regular season tilt, and also defeated Converse in a national quarterfinals matchup 277.535 to 260.905.

Baylor head coach Felicia Mulkey carries a 46-1 record into the matchup. She is 2-0 all-time against Converse as coach of the Bears.
