Media –

The online credential application closes next Wednesday, February 27, for the 2019 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship. The event will be held Friday-Monday, March 8-11 in Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena. There is no designated media hotel for the 2019 championship. Out of town media are encouraged to stay in a nearby hotel downtown or the Bricktown area. As in past years, parking is limited and will be provided to local media only.


The Big 12 will provide complimentary wireless internet service at Chesapeake Energy Arena for general use each day of the Championship, as well as the practice day. If a media entity desires to upload video, audio, photos or other large files, they MUST purchase a dedicated line. If you need data or telephone services, please notify me (russell at big12sports.com<mailto:russell at big12sports.com>) once you complete your credential application and we’ll handle the process.
