WHAT: College Football Playoff Selection Weekend Media Availability

The final College Football Playoff (CFP) Selection Committee rankings of the 2019 season will be announced live on ESPN on Sunday, December 8, beginning at 11:15 a.m. CT with the pairings for the Playoff Semifinals and the fifth- and sixth-place teams.
At 12:30 p.m. CT, ESPN will announce the start times for the Playoff Semifinal games.
And finally, at 2 p.m. CT, ESPN will announce the complete, final CFP Top 25 rankings as well as the pairings for all New Year’s Six bowls.

The College Football Playoff matches the No. 1 ranked team vs. No. 4, and No. 2 vs. No. 3 in semifinal games that rotate annually among six bowl games – the Goodyear Cotton Bowl, PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Capital One Orange Bowl, Allstate Sugar Bowl and Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual. This season’s Playoff Semifinals will take place Saturday, December 28, 2019, at the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl and Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
