In preparing for the Women's Final Four Baylor is currently compiling its “official” print and electronic media travel list..
The NCAA is utilizing an online process for obtaining credential requests for media desiring to cover a particular team throughout the championship. Media have the option to copy an attendee's information from a previous round to the next round to make your application process easier.
Without approval from the NCAA, media agencies that did not staff the preliminary rounds WILL NOT receive credentials to the Women's Final Four, and only those agencies who have staffed all of a participant's tournament competition may qualify for credentials to the Women's Final Four.
Please note: Requestors will be required to provide a unique email address for each attendee credential request for the Women's Final Four.
The deadline for inclusion on the team media list prior to Women's Final Four is 5 p.m. (Eastern) Tuesday, April 2.

Hope that each of you are doing well and congratulations on the advancement of your team to the regional championship game of the 2019 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship.

To assist in your preparation for the 2019 Women’s Final Four in Tampa should your team advance, please note the following in terms of credentials, coaches media teleconference, media headquarters hotel accommodations, media transportation, shipping and schedule of events that you need to begin preparation for.

CREDENTIALS – TEAM MEDIA
Should your team advance to the Women’s Final Four, the Team Media list application and approval process will be the same as last week.

Please send your TEAM MEDIA that were approved to cover your team at the regional sites the link below to apply for credentials and be included on your team's media list should your team advance to the next round, or send the updated memo.

Team Media List credential applications will begin Monday, April 1 at noon (Eastern). Media are responsible for making their own credential and media hotel requests. We will also make sure each media outlet that covered at your regional site will be notified in how to apply via the Women’s Final Four site.

The media application deadline to apply is Tuesday, April 2 at 5 p.m. (Eastern), and your approvals deadline to approve will be at 6 p.m. (Eastern). We will forward you the website link to make your Women’s Final Four team media list approval Monday night at 6 p.m. (Eastern).

MEDIA HEADQUARTERS HOTEL
Hilton Tampa Downtown (211 North Tampa Street, Tampa, Florida 33602; 844-225-3950) will serve as the media headquarters at a rate of $219 per night, plus tax.  Media representatives desiring accommodations at the headquarters hotel are advised that the hotel requires a four-night minimum stay (Thursday night, April 4 through the night of the national championship game, April 7).  A credit card number will be required to guarantee a reservation.  Reservations will be guaranteed; however, individuals will be responsible for paying all charges.  If members of your media have questions regarding lodging, please ask them to contact Andrea Gaither (agaither at ncaa.org<mailto:agaither at ncaa.org>; 317-410-6613) of the NCAA staff who will be coordinating the media hotel accommodations.

SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION
Make mention to your media that if they are traveling by air to Tampa, that there will not be a media shuttle from the Tampa International Airport to the Hilton Tampa Downtown, but that there are a number of low priced transportation options available.

MEDIA SHUTTLE
A media shuttle will run from the Hilton Tampa Downtown Hotel to the Amalie Arena from Thursday, April 4 through Sunday, April 7 during the following hours:
Thursday, April 4:                    8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday, April 5:                                       9:45 a.m. - 3 a.m.
Saturday, April 6:                    6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday, April 7:                                     12:30 p.m. - 12 a.m.

MEDIA PARKING
Media members not staying at the Hilton Tampa Downtown Hotel must request parking passes through the online credential system.  Parking passes, if requested and approved, will be provided in advance via email. Media parking will be located in South Regional Parking Garage. Additional detailed information in regard to parking will be provided in advance for those with parking passes.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
See attached media information document and schedule of events documents.  Note that the Sports Information Contacts Meeting will take place at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3 and will include the four participating institution media relations staffs, ESPN, Westwood One (NCAA Radio Network) and others.  The Administrative Meeting will follow at 9:15 a.m.  Both of these meetings will take place in the Lexus Lounge at Amalie Arena.  More detailed team specific schedule information will be coming in the days ahead after participating teams are determined.
