All –

Reminder to send me over any credential needs for Saturday’s Green & Gold Game by the end of the day.

Even if you still have your 2022 football or 2022 all-sports credentials, it will help me prepare for the event to know who is planning on attending.

Please familiarize yourself with some of the details listed below and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Brent

Subject: MEDIA ADVISORY: Green & Gold Game procedures, coverage information

* MEDIA ADVISORY *

Baylor is hosting its annual Green & Gold Spring Football Game on Saturday at McLane Stadium, with kickoff set for 12 p.m.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and the Baylor Sports Network from Learfield, with the Voice of the Bears, John Morris, and BU greats JJ Joe and Ricky Thompson on the call.

Credentials: Please send Brent Ingram (brent_ingram at baylor.edu<mailto:brent_ingram at baylor.edu>) all credential needs for the game by Thursday at 5 p.m. Pickup locations and usage details will be relayed in a response. Season-long credentials for the 2022 football season will be valid.

Media Field Access: Media will be permitted to shoot from the sidelines during pre-game and throughout the scrimmage. Media will be limited to the “visiting” sideline, opposite of the press box side, during pre-game, due to NCAA policies regarding recruiting visits. Media must access that sideline via the far tunnel.

Standard game day on-field media coverage policies will be applied, which will limit field access to those with a photography/video gathering need, and will allow coverage outside the team sideline box spaces.

Post-Game Procedures: Baylor will host a post-scrimmage press conference featuring Coach Dave Aranda and selected student-athletes, to be held in the McLane Stadium interview room following a brief cooling off period. Media are asked to not encroach on the post-scrimmage team huddle at the 50-yard line. Baylor Communications will be happy to provide photos from that huddle in lieu of allowable photography options.

Press Box: Seating in the McLane Stadium Press Box will be open on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Press Box and Media Entrance will open at 10:30 a.m. Beverages will be available for credentialed media members.

Parking: Parking is free and available on the surface lots, specifically Lot 3 and Lot 4, outside McLane Stadium on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Media Materials: Recordings of the post-scrimmage media sessions will be made available via the Media Materials Box Link<https://baylorbea.rs/FBMedia>.

Scrimmage Structure: The Green & Gold Game will feature two complete teams in a four-quarter format. The first quarter will be coordinated with normal game-timing procedures, with the second quarter and second half featuring a running clock with the clock stopped in between drives.
