WACO, Texas – Baylor football has set its annual Green & Gold spring game for Saturday, April 23 at McLane Stadium. Kickoff time will be set at a later date.

The game wraps up Baylor’s spring schedule of 15 practices in preparation for the 2022 season, which are set to begin in mid-March. Separate from spring practice, Baylor will hold its Pro Day on Saturday, March 30, as former players get a chance to showcase their skills for NFL scouts. With spring practices and Pro Day closed to the public, the Green & Gold Game will be the best opportunity for fans to get a look at the Bears before fall workouts begin in August.

BU is coming off the most successful season in program history, capturing a third Big 12 championship and winning the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The win over Ole Miss was Baylor’s first New Year’s Day bowl win since beating Tennessee in the Sugar Bowl in 1957 and gave the Bears a school-record five wins over ranked opponents.

The 2022 season will kick off on Sept. 3 at McLane Stadium against a to-be-announced opponent. BU will also host Texas State (Sept. 17), Oklahoma State (Oct. 1), Kansas (Oct. 22), Kansas State (Nov. 12) and TCU (Nov. 19). The Bears have road games at BYU (Sept. 10), Iowa State (Sept. 24), West Virginia (Oct. 13), Texas Tech (Oct 29), Oklahoma (Nov. 5) and Texas (Nov. 26).

2022 season tickets are now available through the Baylor Bear Foundation.
