Baylor MBB Set for Home-And-Home Series with Washington

WACO, Texas – Baylor men’s basketball will partake in a home-and-home series with the Washington Huskies as part of the 2025 and 2026 non-conference schedules, announced by both teams on Thursday morning.



The Bears welcome the Huskies to Foster Pavilion on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025. The following season, Baylor will travel to Seattle, Wash. to compete at Climate Pledge Arena on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2026.



Times and streaming services are still to be announced for both games.



BU and Washington have only faced off with each other five times in program history, with Washington holding a 3-2 overall advantage. The last time the Bears and Huskies met was Nov. 29, 2020, in the Vegas Bubble at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where the then No. 1 ranked Bears came away with an 86-52 win.



This will be the first time since 1955, and only third time in program history, that BU will travel to Seattle to compete against Washington in the Emerald City.



Fresh off competing at the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games for Team USA, the Bears got a glimpse of what the 2025-26 season could hold as they came home from Germany as silver medalists. Baylor went 5-1 over the eight days of competition, averaging 90.3 points per game. Notably, BU’s international athletes did not partake in the tournament due to citizenship requirements for Team USA’s roster.
