Baylor MBB Releases Four-Year Series Matchup with Memphis
The Bears and Tigers will alternate home games through 2028-2029 season

WACO, Texas – Baylor men’s basketball announced a four-year non-conference series with the Memphis Tigers on Monday, set to begin in 2025.



The Bears will meet the Tigers on Dec. 6, 2025, at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tenn. at 3:30 pm CT, televised by CBS. The following year, Memphis will travel to Waco on Dec. 5, 2026, and compete at Foster Pavilion.



During the 2027-28 season, Memphis will return to Baylor. The final game in the series will take place in the 2028-29 campaign at Memphis in the FedExForum.



Baylor and Memphis have only faced each other eight times in program history and only once in the Scott Drew era. The last matchup was Nov. 27, 2014, at the Las Vegas Invitational, where the Bears won 71-47. Memphis holds the overall series record with a 6-2 advantage over Baylor.



One of just five schools to be ranked inside the top 10 in each of the last six seasons, Baylor is coming off a school-record sixth-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. In addition to extending the nation's fifth-longest active postseason streak, BU won a tournament game for a sixth straight year, becoming one of just three teams in the country to boast that distinction.



BAYLOR VS. MEMPHIS SERIES

Dec. 6, 2025 – at Memphis

Dec. 5, 2026 – at Baylor

2027-28 – at Baylor

2028-29 – at Memphis
