* Baylor picked up its sixth conference win on Friday night at Foster Pavilion, defeating the Houston Cougars, 70-51.
* BU improves to 11-1 at home this season, gaining the Foster Pavilion’s 18th win in its second season.
* The Bears are the victors of five-straight wins in conference play.
* Baylor put up its third-most points in the paint this season at 52.
* Baylor shot 48.8% from the floor and held Houston to just 27.3%
* BU had its first half-century rebounding mark in conference play, getting 51, while holding Houston to just 31.
* Collen is 90-31 in her fourth season leading the Bears, 43-18 in Big 12 play.
* Collen is 18-9 in the month of January.
* Aaronette Vonleh scored 18 points to lead the Bears for a second-straight game, getting 7-of-10 with a perfect 4-4 showing at the charity stripe.
* Returning from her single-game suspension, Darianna Littlepage-Buggs didn’t miss a beat, scoring 16 with six rebounds.
* Aliyah Matharu had her second double-digit showing as a Bear with an even 10 points, getting her fifth 3-pointer in the green and gold.
* Sarah Andrews had seven points with a 3-pointer and six assists to tie for No. 3 in program history with Didi Richards.
* Putting up eight solid minutes, Kayla Nelms had her best conference showing of her young career, getting six points with a pair of highlight shots in the paint. The true-freshman was 3-of-3 with a trio of rebounds and a block.
* Matching Nelms, Jada Walker scored six with nine assists, just one game removed from her new career high of 12 set against #23 Utah.
* Bella Fontleroy had five points and six rebounds with an assist.
* Baylor used the familiar lineup of Darianna Littlepage-Buggs, Jada Walker, Sarah Andrews, Aaronette Vonleh and Bella Fontleroy as its first five for the 18th time this season.
* Littlepage-Buggs is 53-13, Walker is 42-11, Andrews is 87-32, Fontleroy is 37-13 and Vonleh is 16-3 as starters at Baylor.
* Baylor heads to Newark, N.J., to face UCLA at 2 p.m. CT on Monday in the inaugural Coretta Scott King Classic.
