GRAND HAVEN, Mich. —Baylor women’s golf heads north for the Folds of Honor Collegiate beginning Monday at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Mich.

An event that features live coverage on Golf Channel, the FOH Collegiate includes seven teams that made the NCAA Championship a season ago. Head coach Jay Goble knows it will be a tough test for his team, but he looks forward to seeing how this group handles it.

“This event will test us right off the bat, but we feel like we can compete against anyone else in this field,” he said. “We’ve been to four-straight NCAA Championships’ so competition like this is nothing new to us. We bring back a lot of experience with this team and obviously love what a player of Bridget's [Boczar] caliber adds, so I’m excited to watch them this week.”

Goble’s The first lineup of 2024-25 includes four of the six players who competed for the Bears in the 2024 NCAA Championship but will be spearheaded by a newcomer in Boczar. A transfer from Oakland, she brings in a laundry list of accolades, including player of the year honors from a season ago in the Horizon League.

A lineup mainstay last year, Ashleen Kaur looks to maintain that in 2024, opening the season in the No. 2 spot. As a freshman, she led the team in total birdies (114), total eagles (4) and below-par percentage (19.9%).

Yoonjeong Huh will play out of the No. 3 spot this week. The sophomore got her feet wet during a freshman campaign that saw her appear in 20 rounds across 9 tournaments, highlighted by a top-10 finish at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational.

Sera Hasegawa enters her final season at the No. 4 spot this week. The team leader in stroke average last season (72.72) is currently on pace to break the career stroke-average record of 72.28. Already holding the single-season scoring average record (71.04), Hasegawa enters 2024-25 with a career mark of 71.95.

BaiMai Seema will take the fifth and final spot in the lineup in Grand Haven. Last time out, the senior tied for 28th at the NCAA Championship, which was the highest finish by a Bear in the event since Gurleen Kaur tied for 28th at the 2021 NCAA Championship.

Golf Channel will feature live coverage of the women’s event during each of the three rounds beginning Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday’s coverage runs from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., with final round coverage kicking off at 10:30 a.m. and running through 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
