Baylor VB Media Availability - 10/29 2pm

Hi all!

No. 17 Baylor volleyball invites you to a media availability tomorrow, Oct. 29, at 2pm in the Ferrell Center Media Room.

Head coach Ryan McGuyre and select student-athletes will be available to answer questions ahead of our match on Wednesday with Iowa State (7pm). The Bears will then host Colorado on Friday (7pm).

Notables

  *   Rose six spots in the AVCA poll to No. 17 (previously ranked 23rd) after defeating then-No. 18 TCU in five sets on Friday and winning against Houston in four sets on Wednesday
  *   Elise McGhee had 30 kills and six aces in the match with the Horned Frogs, both a career high
     *   According to VolleyballMag, it was the first time since 2021 a player had both those numbers in a match
     *   Her fifth ace of the night was also the 60th of her career
  *   Lauren Briseño is now No. 10 on Baylor’s career digs list with 1,219 – she dug 24 balls against TCU to break into the list
  *   Briseño is three aces away from the 80th of her career which will tie the No. 5 in Baylor’s career rally scoring service aces list
  *   Hosting Iowa State Wednesday for Space Night with light saber giveaway (7pm)
  *   Hosting Colorado on Friday for Dad & Daughter night as well as faculty/staff appreciation (7pm)
