WACO, Texas – Baylor equestrian opens its season on Thursday as it faces No. 3 TCU at Bear Creek Farms in Burleson.

The Bears take on the Horned Frogs (3-1) to start the regular season after hosting two scrimmages in September. It will also kick off Big 12 play for BU. No. 3 TCU is coming off an 11-9 win over Oklahoma State to host the Bears.

Baylor returns 16 seniors and fifth-year students, while 15 juniors round out its upperclassmen. The Bears welcomed in 13 freshmen while also having a sophomore class made up of 16.

Of those on this year’s roster, 10 Jumping Seat and 11 Western starting lineup competitors return for the Bears. Combined, those 21 had 12 MOPs amongst them.
