WACO, Texas – Baylor Volleyball invites students grades 8 and under to its first-ever "Future Bears Day" education match this fall at the Ferrell Center.

Volleyball will host "Future Bears Day" on Friday, Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. against Abilene Christian as part of the Baylor Classic Tournament.

The initiative began as a way for the Bears to engage local classrooms with an educational experience jam-packed with action from Baylor’s two national championship basketball programs. Baylor Volleyball continues the yearly tradition at the Ferrell Center as they compete in an action-packed match and share how they strive to become “One Degree Better” physically, mentally, and academically.

Schools that register early can submit video questions for Baylor Volleyball student-athletes to answer on the videoboard during the match. An educational lesson will take place during intermission.

All classrooms K-8 are welcome to complimentary admission to the match upon registering with Baylor Athletics prior to Aug. 2.

Schools will need to provide number of tickets requested and number of buses no later than August 2. Supervision of the students in attendance is required. Concessions will be available for purchase; however, schools may also bring lunch for their classrooms.
