Baylor Announces 2024 Meet the Team | Football Edition

WACO, Texas – Kickoff for the 2024 Football season is just over a month away and Baylor Football will celebrate the start of the season on August 24 at Meet the Team | Football Edition. The event is free to the public and will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Allison Indoor Practice Facility.



Fans are invited to get autographs from the 2024 football roster and partake in a Fan Fest in the parking lot of the Allison Indoor Facility, which will include inflatables, food trucks, bookstore merchandise and more. Additional details:



  *   Doors to the newly renovated Allison Indoor Practice Facility will open at 2:00 p.m. to the public.
  *   Parking is free at the Ferrell Center, lot D
  *   Baylor's clear bag policy will be in effect for Meet the Team.
  *   An exclusive Meet the Team poster will be provided for the event.
  *   All position groups will be represented for autographs throughout the facility, including a special appearance by Bruiser and Marigold.
  *   Autographs will begin at 2:30 p.m. and lines will close at 4 p.m. to accommodate student-athlete schedules. If fans are in line at 4 p.m., they will able to remain in line until processed through.
  *   In an effort to accommodate as many requests as possible, each fan will be limited to one autograph item. Setting up posed pictures with players and coaches will not be allowed in order to keep lines moving and to give as many fans as possible the chance to meet each student-athlete in the Green and Gold.



There will also be multiple booths and fanfare set up throughout the facility:

  *   At the ticket sales table, fans can work 1-on-1 with members of the Ticket Office to find the best seat at McLane Stadium.
  *   Fans will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive apparel from the Baylor Bookstore and licensed apparel partners.
  *   A Kids Zone will be set up in the Fan Fest and will include inflatables, face painting, and special activities.
  *   Baylor Bold Rewards and Cub Club will be represented with registration, giveaways, and opportunities to engage this athletic season.



Historically, Baylor’s Meet the Bears kicks off the athletic season and is set for the first Saturday after the start of the Academic Year, but due to the Bears game vs. Tarleton State (Aug. 31), Baylor Athletics is planning multiple Meet the Team events surrounding home football games. Stay tuned to Baylor Social Media channels for more information.



Baylor opens its 2024 season the following weekend on Aug. 31, hosting Tarleton at 6 p.m. at McLane Stadium. The game will be live on ESPN+ and the Baylor Sports Media Network.
