  * BU shot just 60% from the free throw line, but 21 makes on 35 tries marks new season highs in both categories.
  * The Lady Rebels were 10-of-27 from behind the arc, the most attempts allowed so far this year with the second game with double-figure triples (11 from Villanova).
  * It is the first win over UNLV all-time, making a dent in the, now, 4-1 record with the first game in Waco.

  * Nicki Collen is 83-30 in her fourth season leading the Bears.
  * Collen is 17-2 in the month of December.

  * Baylor moves to 7-0 at home and picked up its 14th win at Foster Pavilion.
  * Darianna Littlepage-Buggs had a career day, becoming the first Bear since NaLyssa Smith in the 2021-22 season to record a 20-point/20-rebound game. Her 21 points, 6-of-15 from the floor and 9-of-13 from the line) matched with a career-high 20 rebounds.
  * Littlepage-Buggs was sent to the line for 13 shots, also a new career best.
  * The third quarter was huge for the Bears, where they outscored the Lady Rebels 21-13, led by a double-double from Littlepage-Buggs in a single quarter with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

  * Andrews also continued climbing up the assists record list. With eight on the afternoon, the native Texan now has 256 and moves past Kristy Wallace’s 525 to sit alone at No. 4.
  * Nearing a triple-double of her own, Andrews ended with seven rebounds and eight assists.
  * Aaronette Vonleh tabbed the third 20-point game of the season, 12th of her career, in 27 minutes.
  * Jada Walker’s six-game streak in double figures ended, as she was held to one shot from the floor and two from the line for four points.
  * Bella Fontleroy had four points for the second-straight game, with seven rebounds and a pair of blocks. It was the seventh time the Missouri native led the Bears in that category in 11 games.
  * Making an impact off the bench defensively, Yaya Felder had big stops late in the game, with just two points, three assists and four rebounds on the stat line.
  * Madison Bartley was the only other scoring Bear, getting two off a bucket in the paint.
  * Baylor started Jada Walker, Sarah Andrews, Darianna Littlepage-Buggs, Aaronette Vonleh and Bella Fontleroy for the 11th time this season in as many games.
