Baylor MGOLF Places Six on Academic All-Big 12 Team
Five of the six honorees are repeat selections

IRVING, Texas – Baylor men's golf had six named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team, as announced Wednesday by the conference office.
Mark Reppe is the veteran of the group, selected for a fifth-straight season. The accounting major from Dallas joins Cooper Dossey and Colin Kober as the only five-time Academic All-Big 12 selections in program history. He also joined Kober as the only four-time first-team honorees.
Brandon Hoff was named to the First Team for a third-straight season, his fourth selection overall, after being named to the Rookie team in 2019. The senior marketing major joined Reppe, Dossey, Kober, Travis McInroe, Ryan Grider, Braden Bailey, Garrett May, Andreas Gjesteby and Bill Allcorn as one of ten players in program history with four or more Academic All-Big 12 honors.
Luke Dossey, Tyler Isenhart and Johnny Keefer all picked up First Team honors for a second-straight season after making the Rookie Team in 2020. Sophomore Trey Bosco was also selected to the First Team, his career-first Academic All-Big 12 selection.
Players are eligible for Academic All-Big 12 honors after completing a full year in residence.
Baylor has now had 106 Academic All-Big 12 honorees in the conference's 26-year history, with 75 First-Team selections, 17 on Second Team, 12 on the Rookie Team and two honorable mentions. At least five Bears have earned league academic honors in all eight seasons under head coach Mike McGraw, after the Bears had five or more honorees in one of 18 seasons prior to his arrival.
BU players have combined to earn 62 Academic All-Big 12 honors during the eight-year McGraw era after picking up 44 such honors in the league's first 18 seasons.
Nominated by each institution's director of student-athlete support services, the Academic All-Big 12 men's golf team consisted of 49 First Team honorees and 12 Second-Team selections. To qualify, student-athletes must participate in at least 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests and maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher, while freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. First-Team honorees have a minimum 3.20 GPA.
