CARROLLTON, Texas –Baylor Men’s Golf notched an eighth-place finish against a very strong 15-team field on Wednesday at the Maridoe Collegiate Invitational.

Johnny Keefer played like a true No. 1 player throughout the week and was within striking distance of the lead entering Wednesday’s final round. His 1-over 73 was good enough to hold the individual-clubhouse lead for a time during the afternoon, before he ultimately finished 5th.
