Awareness of Text Scam

Athletics Staff -

We want you to be aware of a recent text scam claiming to be Doug McNamee from a (332) area code.  Please be mindful of any student-athletes, parents and/or staff who mention they've been contacted by Doug directly.  We have reported this phishing/scam situation to ITS but wanted you to be aware as well should you receive one of these texts and/or get asked by your staff, student-athletes or parents.  If so, please notify its at baylor.edu<mailto:its at baylor.edu> and cc Kendal_Moore at baylor.edu<mailto:Kendal_Moore at baylor.edu>.
