NCAA Tennis - Volunteers Needed

We are excited to be hosting the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Tennis Team Championships at the Mark & Paula Hurd Tennis Center, next week on May 13-18th.  This event is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our university's spirit and provide a memorable experience for all participants and attendees.



Thank you to everyone who helped us host in the Fall during the Indvidual and Doubles Championships, it was a smooth operation, and we could not have executed that without the full support of everyone involved!



To ensure the success of this event, we are seeking enthusiastic staff volunteers to assist with various tasks, including:



  *   Greeting: Welcoming fans, players, coaches, staff and officials.

  *   Team Celebration: Greeters to welcome participants to team celebration banquet at McLane Stadium

  *   Hospitality: Assisting with refreshments and ensuring areas are stocked up and cleaned up.
  *   General Assistance: Providing support wherever needed throughout the event.



We value your time and understand it can be difficult to step away from other daily tasks.  We plan to set up approximately blocks of time and would appreciate your response based on the general schedule below.  Anticipated "peak times" during each day are also listed to define when we could use more help.  We are grateful for those with availability for more than one block and longer than a few hours if your schedule permits.

Volunteering for this event is a great way to get involved, meet new people, and contribute in ways maybe outside of your normal working environment.  If you are interested in volunteering a few hours of your time, please email your available day(s) and time(s) to Kenny and Sarah on/by Monday, May 12th so we can include you on a scheduling email outlining specific dates/times when we have volunteer opportunities. Please feel free to reach out to Kenny or I with any specific questions.
