Complimentary Tickets for Baylor Women's Basketball - NCAA 1st and 2nd Rounds

Good Afternoon Athletics Staff,

We are excited that Baylor will be hosting the 1st and 2nd rounds of the Women's NCAA Basketball Championship.

The games are currently scheduled to be on March 21st at 2:30pm and March 23rd (time tbd).

We would like to extend an offer for complimentary tickets to the game for you, your spouse and immediate family members (i.e. children living at home, or not). Come cheer on the Bears and be a part of the excitement!

Per policy, please ready below:
*               Due to IRS regulations, game tickets are considered a taxable benefit and payroll taxes will be withheld.  The taxed percentage will be determined by your tax bracket.  These tickets are intended for your personal use and not for resale.
*               Complimentary tickets received cannot be sold.  Tickets cannot be traded or bartered for goods and services.  Tickets cannot be given to prospective or current student-athletes.  Violations of the Complimentary Tickets policy could result in the loss of complimentary ticket privileges as well as possible termination of employment for misconduct.
*                The Internal Revenue Service has determined complimentary tickets are a taxable benefit resulting from employment by Baylor Athletics.  The Ticket Office is required to report the actual value of complimentary tickets received by the staff member to the Athletics Business Office. Complimentary tickets are subject to the same withholding rules as regular compensation.


  *   Note: The value of a ticket is $20/each per round. If a person accepts this offer and gets four tickets (per round) (i.e. $160.00 total), they will see approximately $40.00 (25%) withheld from their paycheck. The amount withheld from your paycheck is dependent on your individual tax bracket.

Please fill out the online request form<https://baylor.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6DSOtjeNC2ciXQ2> no later than this Thursday (3/20) at noon. Tickets will be available for pickup on Friday at the Ferrell Center from 9am-12pm or starting at 1:30pm at the Foster Pavilion ticket office.
