Best Character Acting: Patrick Troughton and Margery Mason. The most magnificent neurotic mother and long-suffering husband on British telly. I may have to purchase all Troughton’s Doctor Who DVDs to keep his memory alive. His son is currently doing some wonderful work.
Best Writing for Television, Original Screenplay: John Finch. I understand the pains and difficulties Mr. Finch endured in herding his masterpiece before the cameras, and the niggling pay he was given, so that makes his accomplishment that much more valuable. Mr. Finch, the Galsworthy of Television!
