Spoils of War was licenced to Acorn some five or six years ago and sold
quite well as DVD. SAM was the subject of a paper titled FORGOTTEN
TELEVISION by LeZ Cooke of Royal Holloway London University, and also
formed an appreciative subject of his book published by Manchester
University Press titled A SENSE OF PLACE. iT features along with my
various other pieces in my autobiography which is currently trying to
find a SUITABLE publisher, under the title HE WHO WOULD A WRITER BE.
Michael Cox, who produced most of my work with Granada is still with is,
though few of the other old friends still are. JOHN FINCH
